PLUG AND PLAY TEST BED |
| |
Afila has a "Plug and Play" test bed for each layer of network testing. Using this test bed we can do interoperability test for DUT (Device Under Test) with various other vendors. The interoperability test can be done for various Environments like SP, |
 |
Enterprise, IP contact center and Entertainment provider. Faster test coverage of maximum features can be obtained by subjecting the DUT to various "Plug and Play" environment and look for initial interoperability of the DUT. These interoperability test definitions will be defined in such a way that the results will be just used to tick a checklist. |

Instead of normal classification of a device running any protocol IP, ATM or FR etc into service provider device and enterprise device;we classify depending on the potential of box to handle converged traffic (voice, data, |
video etc) or only that can handle data or voice. With this classification it helps to test devices in real world network scenarios very thoroughly and meet the end user expectations.Depending on the data and control plane capability, the box can be placed in various real world scenarios; it may be core, distribution or access device irrespective it is a service provider or enterprise box. |
|
| |
"Plug and Play" Test Bed are intend to test both the data and the control plane. To trade off between time and quality of tests Afila plans to some "All in one test". "All in one test" is a single test case, which directly targets to the complex scenario for a protocol to work in real world. For Example if we are possible to interoperate the FAST REROUTING scenario with CISCO or JUNIPER than we already verified various interoperability scenarios for RSVP-TE, TE constrains and IPG TE extension. |
| |
|
"Plug and Play" Test Bed also provides Real world network scenarios, where the device can be tested by plugging it as a service provider device or enterprise device. It will be again subjected to various |
 |
| positions like core, distribution or access depending on its data and control plane capability. |
